This is “Love Letters”, a miniature little keepsake sculpture. set inside a darling tiny antique tin (circa early 1900) which is embossed to the front. I have picked out the little Dove carrying a letter, and highlighted it with tiny painted features. The top of the lid slides back to reveal the contents. Inside is a wonderful miniature Vintage lead painted dove, who is carrying a tiny envelope in her beak. The envelope is made from Vintage paper, and has a tiny red heart painted to the front of it. Behind the dove, the words. “ love letter letters straight from your heart” are typed onto Vintage paper, and have received a wash of pink watercolour paint to the top, with tiny hearts hand painted upon it also. The whole sculpture measures a minuscule 4.5 cm x 3 cm when closed.
