A handmade miniature assemblage storybox sculpture, entitled 'Forget me Not', by Devon artist Claire Read, Little Burrow Designs, which solely uses recycled / repurposed vintage and antique items. It is set inside a vintage tin in baby blue. Inside the lid is a 1920's woven forget me not in silk. Inside the main body is a carved antique forget me not brooch, blue with yellow centres. It's back ground is a Georgian fragment of duck egg blue silk. On to this is also sewn the words "forget me not", which are sculpted out of wire. Freestanding unique hand crafted keepsake gift.

“Forget me Not”, darling little keepsake storybox. This is set in side a baby blue vintage 1930’s boots tin. The inside lid is lined with a 1920’s Kensitas woven silk forget me not. Inside the main body is a stunning Victorian carved and hand-painted bovine bone forget me not posy. This sits on a fragment of Georgian satin silk from the early 1800’s, originally from a quilt. The words “forget me not” are sculpted from wire and sewn on. The whole piece measures 6.25cm tall.
